Mayvis back to her Kindergarten

On 31st July, we attended Ayden's school Safari Adventure Day.
Mayvis was there too. It was her Kindergarten too. She spent 3 years there.
So naturally, everything was so familiar to her.
She got to see most of her favourite teachers. But she was so shy and when the teachers talked to her, she was hiding behind me!!
Luckily managed to snap a few pictures of her with her favourite teachers before we left the school for the day.

Mayvis' 6th Birthday

This year we had a small celebration for Mayvis' birthday.
We had dinner @ the 螃蟹之家 on 12th Dec 2009.

Then on the actual day, Tania baked a Strawberry cheese cake for Mayvis.

Although the cake turned out not so nice, but really appreciated Tania for doing it for Mayvis....

Mayvis' New Look

Since young, Mayvis is having long hair for almost 6 years..
Today, after her golf class, she requested me to bring her for a haircut.
So, we went to my hair stylist at No. 1 Saloon in AMK Hub.


At there, my princess said "goodbye"to her long hair..





Think she is going to keep back long hair soon.. haha...

Primary One Registration's STRESS!!

Next year, my little princess will be 7 yrs old.
Time really passes very fast.
It seemed like I just given birth to her not long..

For the past few months, I was still worrying which primary school to register her.
Until one fine day, Mayvis came n tell me "Mummy, I want to go Marymount Convent". At that moment, I was taken aback. How could a 6 yrs old(not exactly 6, she was borned in dec!) child tell me which school she wanted to attend!

Conveyed this massage to hubby, and discussion, we decided to register her at MMC, instead of Ai Tong.
From that day, the stress I had for the past few month was gone !!! haha..

Imagine due to have a better chance to secure a place at AT, I did all the following:
1. I joined the CCMC to be an observer. Hoping to get approval to be a community leader and be eligible to register under phrase 2B.
2. We bought a unit at Clover by the Park. But too bad, Clover's address falls between 1 to 2 km from AT!!

Although what I have done above are not useful for this time round, but, I still have Ayden's turn to worry!!
So, I better start to think where I want to register Ayden and then start to plan what "steps" to be carried out in order to secure a place for him.. haha.
Oh my god!! I have became a KIASU parent le!!
Think many parents also like me, start to be a parent volunteer when their kids are only 3 yrs old etc.. (at least I still not so KS yet...hee)

Mayvis' 1st Time...

On 11th October 2008,

Mayvis had her 1st try as a Flower Girl..

On that day, she woke up especially EARLY.. Why???

Because she wanted Tania to do her hairdo and "make-up"!! (OMG)!!

I never know that my girl is so "vain"!! haha.

Afterall, Mayvis did do her "job" very well as a 1st timer..

She did not have "Cold Feet" and she really abled to stand in silent for almost half an hour during the church ceremony!! I was really very surprised... cos she is a very TALKATIVE and "buay si tiam" Gal..

BUT..... To be Frank, I really very proud of my girl for what she had done..

Afterall she is only 5 yrs old..
