When we got the keys to our new place, we started to source for interior designer cum reno company.
After our "careful" search, we found this company called "MY DESIGN PTE LTD" located at Sin Ming Road.
Initially, we only signed up for the design package and the designer did up the designs which suit our ideas. We were happy with it and after long discussion with hubby, we decided to use them for the reno too...
And that was where our nightmare started...
Everytime when we met up for discussion, the designer and the co-ordinator only listened and never bother to jot down our comments. And whenever hubby sent emails to them, they did not reply at all!
Then came the final stage when we asked when could they handover the house and we could move in. They committed a date verbally.
Eversince they started the work at our new place, me and hubby every night without fail, took a torch light and went to our place to see the progress.. Sad to say, everytime the progress was so disappointing. We realised they made many mistakes and told the designer and co-ordinator through emails and smses.. But they did not bother to take it seriously. Ended up, during the last week, our house still looked like a mess, 80% undone!!
That was when hubby could not take it anymore and started to demand a lot of things from them and deadlines,... Again, the designer took it very lightly.
How could a carpentry work redo and redo for at least 2 times!!
Till the last day from the handover date, hubby again asked can they handover by tml??? Again, they kept quiet. Silence means consent!
Thus, the handover date was here!! But the house still not ready!!
Hubby was so so mad! And worst of all, that day was our 10th wedding anniversary!!
Can you imagine how HOT he WAS??!!!
Anyway, with all the harvoc, the scolding, screaming, losing of temper, we finally got our house a week later than the agreed date.
And due to that, we shifted all the delivery dates, mover dates and also lost a tenant for for our old house!
Frankly speaking, the workmanship of this company is really sucks!!!
Till now, the carpentry still need to come to our place to do touch up!!!
We are totally disappointed with this company, we thought with a small company would be better in term of workmanship and etc, but we are totally wrong!!
Besides sales talk, think nothing is considered GOOD.
Anyway, first and the last time, we would not use them again!!
